What Happens If It Rains

When I saw rain in the forecast, I first assumed the whole plan was over. What mattered more was whether the river could operate safely, because light rain and unsafe river conditions are not the same thing.

The most useful step was checking before leaving, not after arriving. It saved me from guessing and helped me understand whether I should keep the plan flexible.

Even if the activity changes, the river day does not need to disappear completely. Food, a short walk, or a nearby cafe can still make the visit feel worthwhile.
